Here's a new mail transmog I created to match with the new mount for the Ahead of the Curve: Argus achievement! It is mail only, and some pieces are going to be more difficult to farm than hours (like that sweet, sweet helm), but I feel it really embodies the spirit of the birb, along with the colour scheme. This set looks pretty good on each of the race/gender combinations, with no awkward clipping and the colours pairing well even with green skin tones. Check out the full list of items, and where to find them, below!

Ah, the Trial of Style, where players can queue up to compete to see who has the best transmog closet. It's a pretty funny event, where six players will go toe-to-toe (two at a time) to see who can match the theme given by the NPC judges best. Sometimes, the themes given by the judges can be questionable. This theme was "Mismatched Style", with the goal to look as dissonant as possible. I'm happy to say that I succeeded, and won first place, but ugh, it hurts my eyes! Thank goodness mail wearers, despite having the least amount of classes, somehow have the greatest rainbow of colours to choose from. Not everyone will agree with the decisions made, but fortunately, it does seem to even out even if someone isn't playing by the rules. There do seem to be ways of strategic voting, but it hinges on whether others are also strategically voting or if they're playing properly, and following the unspoken rules.
If you want to win, simply spread out your votes as best you can. You will have to vote for 1-2 people twice, but you can avoid voting for multiple people multiple times if that's what you desire. Naturally, this ruins the spirit of competition, but will increase your chance of winning... unless everyone else is doing the same thing. Then it's all up in the air! Prepare your closet, and enter the Trial of Style for that one shirt that may finally replace the Precious' Ribbon that never drops from ICC! Where things drop from:Shoulders: High King Maulgar, Gruul's Lair
Pauldrons of the Fallen Champion Chest: Magtheridon, Magtheridon's Lair Chestguard of the Fallen Champion Gloves: The Curator, Karazhan Gloves of the Fallen Champion Waist: Chess Event, Karazhan Girdle of Treachery Legs: Gruul the Dragonkiller, Gruul's Lair Leggings of the Fallen Champion We have a hilarious DK in our group that really has a thing for this hat, so I created this look for Mail Wearers, hunters specifically. Personally, I don't enjoy cloaks, but if I did, the one below is the one I'd choose. Alternate Items:Alternate Cloak: Hollowblood Scarf
Alternate Polearm: Ritual Headcleaver Halberd Alternate Polearm: Tidebreaker Trident Alternate Helm: Primal Gladiator's Coif This set was created to match the Headless Horseman's Helm. The shoulders and weapons were chosen to match the glowing green of the helm's fire, and the remaining plate pieces were chose to fit the theme of dark grey and gold. Finally, there are no plate chests that perfectly match the rest of the set, so the Omega Breastplate was chosen because the arms of the piece do match the remainder of the set, and then the Shattered Sun Tabard completes the look with the gold symbol and green jewel. Alternate Pieces to Exalted Gear:Alternate Waist: Belt of the Soul Saver
Alternate Pants (for non-paladins): Exalted Legplates Alternate Boots: Boots of the Ancient-Killer I created this set for a holy paladin to match his Felsteel Annihilator mount. It's challenging to find green plate pieces that match the darkness of the Felsteel Annihilator. There are quite a few green pieces, but not many of them match and have the same vibe of purple/green that HFC Mythic delivers. This set was created as an alternative to the off-piece DK set.
Darkmoon Dragonstalker SetDifferent Pieces:Helm: Dragonstalker's Helmet Shoulders: Snake Spaulders of the Marksman Chest: Darkmoon Chain Shirt of the Tiger Gloves: Netherstalker Gloves of Stamina Waist: Torch-Brazed Waistguard Legs: Dreamsinger Legguards Boots: Felstone Greaves of the Elder Bow: Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers Skettis ChestDifferent Pieces:Hunter Purple Set with smaller shouldersDifferent Pieces:Shoulders: Netherstalker Mantle of Intellect

KS ProxyI've been spending a lot of time creating unique xmogs, as my guild enjoys fashion shows on raid nights. Once my xmogs have been seen for a bit, I'll post them up here. For the most part, they're extremely annoying to farm, as they consist of individual pieces spanning all expansions, but on the up side, they will be rather unique. Image: https://goo.gl/mDxEU1
