Good... afternoon! Wow, it's later than I thought it was.
I've managed to rearrange my daily schedule to allow some room for creating videos! During my dreary day-to-day work life, I got some experience creating storyboards and looking at video editing, so I figured hey, why not expand on that and see what I can create? To that end, I've decided to start working on a YouTube Channel! At best, it will allow me to share games and things that I love with a wide variety of people. At worst, well, at least I'll finally get through this crazy backlog of games that I bought during all the Steam sales and have never played. Here's a sample of my first ever video! It's not technically public, just unlisted, so if you're here reading this, well lucky you, you get first dibs on seeing my upcoming videos! Hooray!

"Reborn" may not quite be the correct word choice...I wonder how many people remember the catastrophe that the initial launch of Final Fantasy XIV was. It coincided with the launch of the World of Warcraft's Cataclysm expansion pack, and man, was I ever glad I chose to play WoW instead of switching over to Final Fantasy XIV.
The lure was there, absolutely, especially since I had always wanted to play FFXI Online but didn't have a capable computer or internet for my PS2. By the time it launched on the Xbox 360, the servers had dwindled and the initial thrill and novelty of the experience was gone; plus, I was already playing games like the World of Warcraft, Aion, Tera, which contained newer concepts and a wider fan-base at that moment in time. I later heard from my friends and coworkers that they could not pass level 20 in FFXIV; not due to any lack of skill or effort on their part, but because the quests simply ran out! Hard to believe in a game where the level cap was to be 60! Free time was given to paying customers, and some more quests were added. My friends could now progress to level 25, hooray! Yet here they languished yet again, forced to indiscriminately slaughter monsters in a vain attempt to gain new skills and abilities. Needless to say, Square had to create some major changes to the game. FFXIV: A Realm Reborn takes place five years after the initial "campaign", yet the launch for this game is fraught with nearly as many issues. There is no queue system to enter into a server, many North American servers are unavailable to create new characters on, and those who do have characters find themselves getting errors that boot them from the game and are then unable to log back in. There are even rumours spreading of players logging their characters in during the morning in order to play at night, as there is currently no removal of idle characters from the realms. I was finally able to create a character at around 12 a.m. on August 29 on the same realm as my friends (I previously made version of her and others on first a Japan Realm which had some lag, and later an EU Realm when they opened the, but it remains to be seen whether I'll be able to log in when I return home after work tonight. My Falafell awaits! Alright, I finally finished it! Here is my photoshopped version of Leona in a corrupted moon-style skin. I have no idea what to make for her background, aside from liking the idea of having an eclipse as a part of it (the moon is eclipsing the sun). As a result, I'm using the picture you currently see in the background until I can come up with something on my own that will also match the colouring that I did. I've also posted the picture in the League of Legends forums here in the general discussion thread and again in my own thread in the fan art forums and the player concepts forums. I haven't seen the OP on the forums lately, but hopefully he'll see my drawing soon and like it! I'm still learning photoshop, so I'm sure it could be better, but this is my best work so far, so I'm pretty excited about it. If anyone thinks they can do a better job colouring it and wants the original file, I have it available, and may make it available to download. Sources:

I think it's a cute Orianna skin, and I really do love the ponytail. TPA Mundo Skin on the PBE"MUNDO GO WHERE HE PLEASES!" The Howling Abyss on the PBEOne of my shorter games on the PBE in the new ARAM map. They finally fixed the towers (they don't spawn as being broken anymore) and everything seems to be working out great. Watch out for the Poro!
I feel guilty for neglecting my other titles...I'm not quite sure what to do about this. I've purchased a few games lately that I was very excited to play at the moment that I purchased them, titles such as: Pandora's Tower, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, Defiance, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. The only trouble is, I've barely played any of them! All I have been playing lately is the new ARAM mode on the League of Legends Public Beta Environment and I've been trying to be more active on the League of Legends forums as well. ... however, the new ARAM on the LoL PBE is fantastically epic.I'm most likely going to FRAPS a game or two soon, just for fun and to show my friends the updates on the PBE. I would be playing more PSO 2, except that it currently is not compatible with FRAPS; that, and I have to do my quest for my second class (Hunter going into the option to be a Fighter) and it seems like a lot more effort than I am currently willing to put into it. So, the League of Legends PBE has attracted all of my attention lately. Not only does it have the new champion, Lissandra, and the updated models for Trundle and Sejuani, but the ARAM matchmaking is a very satisfying experience, and can have games of varying time frames, though usually they are relatively short which means more games in a shorter period of time. The average game that I have played lately has been 20-30 minutes, as the PBE has unlocked all champions for all players, with a 20% IP boost enabled as well. It's still in Beta for a reason. This has caused some interesting glitches for me, however. The most noticeable one was my getting Morgana four games in a row; this was an unusually odd occurrence, for though my PBE account has quite a few champions unlocked (at least 30) I have yet to received a champion so many times in such a short period when I have my regular champions available. Now that all champions have been made available to me, I receive only a small selection of this availability with regularity. The strangest part is that every player on the PBE has all of the champions marked as playable/available, so it isn't as though Morgana is the only champion that I do not share in common with the other 9 players in the game. The one positive thing that has come of this, however, is that I have once and for all (until a new skin comes out) decided which Morgana skin is my favorite; Sinful Succulence Morgana. Note: The extra champions are currently disabled on the PBE. Links:

Someone thought of a cool concept for Leona and Diana, so I thought I would pitch in!This is the thread for the concepts, so you can see what the OP had in mind. I did my best with what I had available at the time, though I'm planning on redoing the colouring with Photoshop (my trial ran out of time). If you're reading this, and you like/have an interest in the idea, bump the thread for us, so hopefully people who are a better artist than I can also see it, and potentially create a more spiffy piece of art. The photoshop version will also have a proper background, so that way she isn't just on a white sheet of paper. Hopefully, I'll have it redone by early next week. I hope the OP likes it! I feel the title sums it up pretty succinctly; with the new champion, Lissandra, launching sometime in the future, a few other champions whose lore exists close to Lissandra's are getting some new skins, and so far, they all look absolutely phenomenal. The Ice Drake Shyvana one is my favorite so far, it almost makes me want to start playing her again (I probably won't, since I am awful at melee..)! Blackfrost AniviaObviously, it's quite difficult getting to play as Lissandra on the PBE, so I chose to try out the new skins for the moment to see what the differences were, and whether they'd be worth investing in once they go live. The Anivia skin, allegedly, is the Legendary Skin for Anivia, as it apparently has a different voice as well as different skins for each of her attacks. It'll be interesting to see what other people think of it; I definitely prefer this skin over her regular one. Ice Drake ShyvanaThis skin was AMAZING! I love absolutely everything about it, or I will once they get the bugs fixed up. Currently, she still does her whole "Fire Dragon" animation about 80% of the time, which then goes into the Ice Drake once the dragon has landed; I've only seen the Ice Drake appear once when I first cast the spell to transform. However, every attack that she makes in this skin is a work of beauty, and it's just so stunning. Lissandra, the Ice WitchI made a custom game to try Lissandra out, and I do love the way she plays. I find her to be very similar (identical, almost) to the Crystal Maiden in DotA 2 in how she plays, though without the support abilities that the Crystal Maiden has. However, I really don't like her second skin (as seen below) as much as her "classic" skin. While it looks lovely, I feel that the classic skin simply suits her better, so I most likely won't be purchasing the bundle when she releases.
So, still waiting for PSO2 to download (I'm not quite sure why it's taking forever, since it's only 8GB), so I don't really feel like doing much else at the moment >.> I probably will still go play El Shaddai, since I am quite tired after a day of school and work and it really is quite a lovely and awe-inspiring game. The graphics really do look like the screen shot above this blurb, and they last for the entirety of the game. The combat is simple to pick up, but learning it and making it flow is something that even the most hardcore gamers could enjoy. For anyone who hasn't checked out the game yet, there should still be a demo available on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network; if you're lazy, however, feel free to click the link below to open up a youtube video showing an awesome trailer.
